Kimberly Nixon
Lead Vocals & Percussion
Kimberly is a founding member of Bad Romance, and is a Bay Area native who has been singing and dancing professionally since the age of 3. At 16, she was signed to a talent manager and agent from New York city and move to the Big Apple.
After a year of modeling and national TV commercials, at just 17 years old, Kimberly landed a role on in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Broadway show, STARLIGHT EXPRESS at the Gershwin Theater.
At 21yrs. old she signed her first record deal with PWL/PolyGram Records, and at 23yrs old had a #1 record, “THAT'S WHAT LOVE CAN DO” singing with the girl group Boy Krazy. The song was also awarded BMI’s 1993 Most Played Song Of The Year. While on tour with Boy Krazy, Kimberly had the privilege of sharing the stage with many of her childhood idols including, Duran Duran, P.M. Dawn, Exposé, Flock of Seagulls, Sir Mix-A-Lot and Eddie Money.
Kimberly has also written and performed songs on several movie soundtracks over the years.
Most recently, Kimberly has been seen locally in Pacific Repertory Theater’s production of the musical 9 TO 5 at the Outdoor Forest Theater and JERSEY BOYS at the Golden Bough Playhouse in Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Sam Maggio
Drums & Band Managemenr
A founding member of Bad Romance, Sam has been playing in cover bands for the last 20 years, and is a graduate of University of Southern California - where he played in the world-renowned USC Trojan Marching Band. While in the band, Sam performed in two Rose Parades, two Super Bowl halftime shows, and recorded with the rock band Kansas. Sam is locally raised and graduated from RLS. In his "other" life, Sam is a Realtor® with Keller Williams Coastal Estates.
